- Animal bone pin, whale or walrus bone/ivory, possibly used to fasten shroud. Excavated by J.R Mortimer in 1868, found with infant burial, Barrow 112, Garton Slack Barrow Group (Group XI), North Yorkshire. Part of the Mortimer Collection. Neolithic. Found with other infant burials and pins (KINCM:1942.345.1-3).
