Brief Description:
Half-plate bromide print photograph of the western approach to the Old North Bridge, Hull, taken in 1928. The northern side of the street has the Willerby Cafe, The Greenland Fishery Inn and the premises of Curson & Son. A tower of the Hull Ships Stores can be seen at the end of the block, overlooking the bridge. The warehouse of the corn merchants, Arthur Wood & Sons, stands on the eastern bank of the River Hull in the background. The photograph was taken by W. Gilleard of the Hull Photographic Society on 5th August 1928 at 1pm.
