- Black and white publicity photograph of a crowd of people watching a demonstration during the touring exhibition of 'The Giant Whale - Jonah' (or 'Jonas'). The whale was captured off Trondheim, Norway, in 1952, preserved with formalin and toured around Europe. The whale's mouth has been propped open to show the baleen plates, and the man on the platform is standing beside a pair of harpoons. The reverse has printed text in French and English that reads 'La Baleine geante - Jonas / The Giant Whale - Jonah' and a handwritten note that reads 'Exhibition / April 1954 / South Bank, Waterloo Bridge / Photograph taken in Paris'.
