- Staybusk made from decorated whale baleen. The upper corners are cut at 45 degrees. Starting from the top there is a roundel with a 12 petal decoration; a decorative band; a sailing brig and a sailing ship; a Union flag and an anchor at ensign. The busk is inscribed with initials 'BGSH' and a poem beginning 'Sailors they are bound for all Weather...'. The busk is also decorated with a fern in a pot, the Prince of Wales feathers and a roundel.
