- Brief Description:
- Oval punch ladle with a silver bowl and twisted baleen handle. The bowl has an inset copper-gilt abolition medal. The obverse of the medal appears on the inside of the bowl and features the image of the 'kneeling slave' and the legend 'Am I Not A Man And A Brother'. The reverse, on the base of the bowl, has the text 'Whatsoever Ye Would That Men Should Do To You, Do Ye Even So To Them'. The initials 'I.W.W.' are engraved on the side of the bowl facing away from the handle.
