- Marine mammal bone; a lumbar vertebra of a Minke Whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) washed ashore at Broomfleet Island, south-east of Broomfleet, East Yorkshire, on 6th - 8th May 1985. The whale measure 17 ft in length and was probably the same individual reported ashore at Goole Fields a few days before. The specimen is cited. The skull of this whale is catalogued as KINCM:1986.1030, another vertebra as KINCM:1987.293 and a humerus as KINCM:1987.292.
