- One of a pair of decorated walrus tusks, with designs along the length of the tusk, made about 1854. One side of the tusk shows: A flying fish, labelled below; A brig under sail, flying a skull and crossbones flag; Inscription 'HMS ACORN IN CHASE'; A two-masted vessel flying a British ensign with the date '1854'. On the reverse of the tusk are: An Inuit man in a kayak with inscription 'Esquimaux in his boat'; Three walruses with inscription 'Walruses'. The tip of the tusk is perforated for suspension.
