Walrus tusk decorated with many patriotic images, including: the English and French flags; the Prince of Wales' feathers and motto 'Ich dien' (I serve); a crown and crossed swords; 'VR' monogram for Queen Victoria; a sailor with the Union flag; a scroll with motto 'IN HOC SIGNO VINCES' (In this sign I conquer); thistles; a star and gartar; and chain shot. The tusk has a hole at the tip for suspension.
