- Portrait of Mrs Beatrice Sanderson by Philip Alexius de Laszlo (1869-1937), 1917. Traditional society portrait in a free style of a middle aged woman seated on large upholstered red throne chair with heavy carved finials and turned arms. She is dressed in a white satin dress with blue and gold shawl over her shoulders, a long string of pearls and a rose at her fine white evening dress (satin) with gold sash and blue and gold shawl and gold sash, with a pink rose at her bodice. She has a pale and intelligent face. Oil on canvas.
