Looking north down High Street from a point just south of Wilberforce House, the gateway to which can be seen on the right. On the left are the premises of Charles Ware, a waterproof oil cover maker. In the left foreground are the premises of John Smith, joiner. There are a number of pedestrians and a horse-drawn wagon further down the street. Ink and wash on paper. Signed bottom left.
