- Drawing by FS Smith of the Hull Guildhall from Alfred Gerder Street. The statue of Britannia flanked by two lions stands in front of the newly-built tower. The time-ball can be seen at the very top of the tower. Tramlines are shown in the road and a horse-drawn carriage can be seen to the right.
