- The Free Library Beverley Road, near Fountain Road, drawn by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), about 1895. The Northern Branch Library opened in June 1895. It was built on a vacant plot of land on Beverley Road just beyond Fountain Street and originally stood next to the Sculcoates Union Workhouse. There are two figures in the street in front of the building. Ink and wash on paper. Signed lower left corner.
