Brief Description:
Pen and ink drawing of the Dog and Duck public house on High Street, Hull, near to the South Bridge. There are figures, including one on horseback, with a dock scene in the background. The drawing has been cut into a circular shape and has been signed by the artist at the lower left side. Mounted on square card. Writing on back in pencil reads 'Dog & Duck now pulled down near the South Bridge top of High St one time meeting place of the press gang during the Napoleonic War'.
