- George Yard, Hull, looking south, drawn by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), about 1890. The entrance to the George Yard Chapel is in the right foreground of the drawing. It was built around 1786 by the Wesleyian Methodists. The clock tower of the Old Guildhall stands in the background. There are a number of pedestrians further down the street. Ink and wash on paper. signed bottom left corner.Hand written on the back in pencil 'George Yd showing on right the old / Wesleyn Chapel where John / Wesley one time preached. In / distance the old tower Hull / all pulled down now.'
