Brief Description:
An Old Building on High Street drawn by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1884. Pen and ink drawing of an old building known as Sissons' House, probably early seventeenth century, that once stood opposite Wilberforce House on High Street, Hull. The building shows the entrance to Bryant's Court and R Rushforth Grocery premises. Next door is the Globe Hotel. There are figures and a horse and cart in the street in front of the building. The drawing is signed and dated by the artist on the lower left corner. The drawing is mounted on a piece of card.
