- Drawing of the corner of Story Street and Prospect Street in Hull, by Frederrick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1900. View down Prospect Street from the junction with Story Street on the left, with the domes of the Dock Offices visible in the cnetre background. On the corner of Storey Street are the premises of George Habron, painter, and the offices of Moseley & Davis and SD Davis, both dentists. Chappel's grocers stands on the corner with Prospect Street. Further down the street on the left is the Wheatsheaf Inn run by landlady Mrs Jane Moorhouse. David Little's bakers stands next door, with large sign advertising Hovis. Staffordshire House stands in the foreground on the right, which from the items on display outside appears to sell pots and pans. Telephone wires run across the street whihc is busy with traffic and pedestrians, including a policeman on the right. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated bottom left corner.
