- George Street, just past Grimston Street, Hull, looking east, by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), about 1885. The road is busy with traffic, carts, carriages and a horse-drawn tram. There is a man with a hand cart in the foreground and a woman and young girl walking along the pavement. On the left stands John Coatsworth Auctioneers and beyond them the premises of William Pool's Turkish Baths at No 3 & 4 Geoerge Street. Pool was also a Coal Merchant, hence the sign outside the baths. Pencil on paper. Signed bottom left corner.
