Two men stand talking in the centre of the road whilst a woman walking twards Whitefriargate on the pavement on the right. Buildings are on either side of the road, including County Buildings on the right in the foreground. In the background the premises of Henry Carr Sadler are visible on Silver Street. Holy Trinity Church tower is in the distance in the centre. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated bottom left corner.
