- Brief Description:
- Iron mirror from the grave of a young adult female. The handle has a ring at either end, but otherwise both handle and mirror are plain. Excavated by Humberside Archaeological Unit (supervised by John Dent) at Wetwang Slack in July 1984. From Site XV WK 218, Chariot Burial 2. Iron Age, 3rd or 2nd century BC. Associated with mineralised textile (possible tassel) KINCM:2010.8.94.
