- Brief Description:
- Silver dram cup or 'hottwater taister' made by Abraham Barachin. Engraving on the front of Hermes carrying a caduccus held aloft by two figures, and a later Victorian engraving on the back of the initials "M.A.R." Makers mark struck once and Hull town mark struck twice on the base, with owners initials of "I.G." within a cross formation of stars. Purchased in 1969 with the help of the Art Fund. This is part of the Hull silver collection.
