Brief Description:
Newspaper cutting from the Hull Daily Mail with prints of frieze panels designed and produced by H.H. Rodmell for the Wembley British Empire Exhibition in 1924, and enlarged for use as cartoon panels for the 'Museum of Commerce and Transport, High Street, Hull'.The cartoons illustrate Humber Ships AD700 - AD1900, Ancient and Modern Ships, with two panel images of a Humber Keel and Viking longboat together and another group of Steam liner, masted whaling ship and Elizabethan galleon with waterboat and barrel buoy in the foreground.
