- 'Megalith' by Eric Atkinson (b 1928), 1967. Abstract expressionist impasto painting consisting of black and brown bands with lighter colour borders of curling sgraffitto lines interspersed with red spots and light and dark coloured patches and shapes cutting through or punctuating the horizontal strips with a lighter coloured broken line around the outside against the dark border edges. Oil on board.
