- Pencil and watercolour drawing on cartridge paper, showing a bow, portside view of a destroyer with camouflaged hull, chipping and scraping. Rough sketch for M1.1883, with colour instructions. Dated 26.10.1943. Reverse has stamp 'No Admiralty Objection' and signature of the captain of Royal Navy, stamped 'Passed 1st March, 1944'.
