Brief Description:
Sperm Whale overturning a whaleboat and crew into the wave tossed water, while its head is turned with mouth uppermost and blood coming from the blowhole into the waves, a harpoon line visible around its lower jaw, while another whale boat is sailing in front of the whale's body with harpooner ready to strike while standing at the bows. Another boat is attempting to secure the tail that is above the water on the left. The whaler is anchored, with sails up on the right horizon. Whale boat crews have individual features and sailing clothes.
