The tusk is decorated with many pictures, including: a thistle head; an eagle with acorns and arrows in its talons; a Royal Navy sailor with a straw hat; and a woman in a three quarter length dress. The tusk has a hole at the tip for suspension, and is also pierced on the reverse at the base.
