Starting from the base, there is: A tree; A baby in swaddling clothes; The figure of Britannia with a Union Jack on her shield and the port profile of a ship in the background; A sailor holding a Union Jack flag, wearing a hooped shirt and bell bottom trousers; A crucifix on a stepped pedestal, with a scroll above with inscription 'INRI'; A pair of hearts with 'J.F.' above within a wreath frame; A fouled anchor with a mermaid holding a mirror in her right hand at the tip. The other side of the tusk is blank.
