Brief Description:
Walrus tisk decorated on both sides with many pictures. On one side, starting from the base, are: The port profile of a full-rigged ship in full sail flying a British ensign from the after peak; A figure of Britannia with a St George shield and a lion; An angel holding a wreath in her hand within an apple-shaped frame; A female bust with hair piled up, wearing a necklace with pendant and two drop earrings. Other side, from the base up, are: Three links of a chain; A standing woman wearing a full length dress and trailing train, pointing with her left hand; A female bust looking to the left, with her hair piled up with lace trim, a necklace with pendants and gauze sleeves. On the edge of the tusk is a female bust wearing a hunting style hat with plumes, with a ribbon tied in a bow under her chin. The base is cut off obliquely to provide another surface for decoration, and is decorated with an upright female figure with her hands in a muff, wearing a full length layered dress.
