- Newspaper cutting with a list of the ships 'lost in the Davis' Straits and Greenland Fisheries, from 1816 to 1853, inclusive' and was 'specially compiled for 'Marwood's Directory and Register'. The names of Hull whaling ships have been marked with a pencil cross. A section of 'Analysis' at the bottom records that 45 Hull ships were lost, amounting to 14,433 tons.
