- Typewritten copy of the log of the Hull ship 'Comet', entitled 'A Journal of a Voyage, in the Ship 'Comet' to the Coast of Peru, in the Southern Pacific Ocean Whaling Grounds', by Abel Scurr, Commander, from 3rd September 1812, to 3rd December 1815. The front page records that the extracts were taken from Log Nos. 1, 2 and 3, in the 'possession of the Hull Trinity House, and presented by Miss Bessie Miles of Withernsea, 25th June, 1930'.
