Brief Description:
Notebook that belonged to Arthur Beckett James, Officer in Charge of the Degaussing Station at Hull during the Second World War. The first page has the address of the station, 'Humber D.G. Wiping Station, East Quay, Alexandra Dock, Hull'. There are also details of the personnel: J. Andrew, 'Technical Experimental Assistant', with a date 1st September 1942 and A.B. James, 'Electrical Lieutenant Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve', with a date 14th May 1943. The notebook contains handwritten tables recording the names of ships treated and the dates from 1941 until 1943.
