- Hardback leather-bound book with the title 'Europae Speculum, or, A View or Survey of the State of Religion in the Westerne part of the World. Wherein the Romane Religion, and the pregnant policies of the Church of Rome to support the same, are notably displayed, with some other memorable discources and memorations, Never before till now published according to the Authours'. It was written by Edwin Sandys and published in the Hague in 1629. It contains a bookplate with the Wilberforce family eagle crest and belonged to William Wilberforce and was part of the family library. There are some annotations and underlinings in pencil. The back page has a handwritten list relating to pages in the book in an unknown hand. Several of the pages have the circular 'The Wilberforce Museum' stamp.
