Brief Description:
Silver tankard with a drum-shaped body that has slightly tapered sides, with ringed bands around the rim and base. The front of the body was once engraved with the inscription 'W.H. Maude' (now obliterated). The tankard has a D-shaped section handle and an ornamental thumb-piece. The body and the hinged cover are stamped twice with the three crowns hallmark and the maker's initials 'AB', with a crown above and rose below. The maker is Abraham Barachin and was made circa 1706. The object is part of the Hull Silver collection.
