Brief Description:
Punch ladle with a hemispherical silver bowl and a turned wooden handle with a baluster-shaped top. The bowl is stamped with the maker's mark 'AB' with a crown above and rose beneath. The handle is joined to the bowl by a collar on which is engraved the original scratch weight - 1oz 18dwt. The maker's mark is just to the right of the handle, legible but worn. The maker is Abraham Barachin and the object was made circa 1710. It is part of the Hull Silver collection.
