- Brief Description:
- Printed election leaflet denouncing the Conservative candidate, Sir George Christopher Trout Bartley, ahead of the 1907 by-election for the seat of Hull West. The notice points out that he has attended less than half of the divisions in the House during the last five years and that he voted against Mr Trevelyan's Bill for rating ground values in urban districts 'thus opposing the most effective means of relieving the rates by making those share the burden who derive most benefit from them'. It was printed and published by Ash & King, High Street, Hull.
