- George Yard looking south drawn by Frederick Schultz smith (1860-1925), about 1888. Streetscene depicting George Yard, with two rows of premises on either side and the tower of the old Guildhall in the background. George Yard Chapel is shown on the right, was built about 1786 by the Wesleyan Methodists. There is a pawnbroker's sign on the left side of the alley advertising the premises of Mrs Betsy Story. There is a horse and cart visible at the bottom of the street. in the centre. Ink and wash on paper. Signed bottom right corner.
