'The Manchester Arms' stands on the left with the name of the landlady, Mrs Ellen Bothwick on a board above the door, A woman stands in the doorway of the building in the foreground on the left, probablyy that of Joseph Oxtoby's shop. There are a few people and carts in the distance. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated bottom left corner.
