- Brief Description:
- Baltic Chambers, High Street, drawn by Frederick Schultz smith (1860-1925), about 1885. This jettied building probably stood on the west side of High Street, south of Scale Lane. The building appears to be used as offices. There is a sign advertising 'Lyoin's Ink' above the doorway. A well dressed gentleman stands outside the Baltic Chambers as a man in the street carries a heavy sack past the building. Ink and wash on paper.
