There is a woman carrying a basket at the junction on High Street: the entry to Bishop Lane is on the right and on the left is the corner of Bisop Lane Staithe. The building on the right with the inscription '1815' is the premises of William Hudson, shipbroker. A woman and child stand outside the building. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated bottom left corner.
