Standing almost opposite Wilberforce House No 179 High Street is the jettied building in the foreground with shops on the ground floor. A woman and girl stand outside the entrance to Bryant's Court, A horse and cart stands outside the entrance to Globe Court. Further dwon High Street is the 'Globe Hotel' run at this time by landlord Robert Hewson. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated bottom left corner.
