Streetscene of Paragon Street looking east across the junction with Chariot Street to Waterworks Street. Three public houses are shown with in the cneter' March of Intellect', the 'Neptune' public house on the left side and the 'Paragon' public house on the right. The Town Docks Offices building can be seen in the background. There are many pedestrians and horses and carts in the street. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated F S Smith December 1889 bottom left corner.
