- Drawing of Kingston Square showing Protestant Institute, now Hull Repertory Theatre and Assembly Rooms by Frederick Schultz smith (1860-1925), about 1885. View of the east side of Kingston Square, looking south past the Protestant Institute on the left with the columned entrance of the Assembly Hall next door. In the centre beyond the railing fence and trees is Clowes Chapel, Jarratt Street, which opened in 1851.The chapel was de-registered in 1932 and used as storage before being demolished in 1965. There are three pedestrians, a dog and birds in the square. Ink and wash on paper. Signed bottom right corner.
