- Hand harpoon, formed of a single piece of metal with a cylindrical shaft with hollow cone-shaped tip and a pointed flattened blade with two barbs. With red binding around handle. Engraved 'TRUELOVE' and on reverse '1841 M'. The 'M' may refer to Thomas Massam, the original owner of the Nunburnholme Collection. Blacksmith's stamp 'RF' in a lozenge.
