- Anlaby Road, corner of Walton Street, drawn by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1892. Streetscene depicting Cumberland Terrace a row of purpose-built shops with accomodation above. William Poole's tobaconists, George Richardson's butchers, Ashlin West's drapers and Benjamin Hill's grocers shops are shown here. Just visible on the extreme left is the Wold Carr Inn. A horse and cart stands in the road in front of the row of shops. Cumberland Terrace was demolished in 2003. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated bottom left corner.
