- The entrance to the Old Harbour and the Vittoria Hotel by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1884. William's Vittoria Hotel stands on the left and river Hull and entrance to the Old Harbour on the right side, with warehouse buildings and the church tower of Holy Trinity in the background. Part of the landing slip by Victoria Pier is shown in the foreground, known as Horse Staith or the 'Os Wash'. Horses can be seen being taken down to the water to be washed. Written inscription in pencil 'Fred Smith - 1884' below image on front. Ink and wash on paper, mounted on a thin piece of card.
