The large building at the end of the terrace was the former Ragged & Industrial School, built in 1856. On the left runs the terrace housing of Cottingham Place, bisected by Charles Street whichh ended at the bridge shwon in the centre. The chimneys and ventilator cowls min the left background mark the rear of Moors' & Robson's Crown Brewery, established in Raywell Street about 1848. Ink and wash on paper.
