- Holderness House drawn by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1909. Pencil drawing that depicts Holderness House, East Hull, within it's gardens. The house has three floors and there is a flag flying on it's rooftop. Once the home of MP and philanthropist Thomas Ferens (1847-1930). After his death he bequethed the house and gardens as a 'rest home for poor gentlewomen in reduced circumstances'. The house is still a residential care home in 2018. The drawing is dated and signed by the artist on the reverse.
