- The Main entrance to Pearson Park from Beverley Road, Hull, drawn by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1883. In the centre a road leads between houses to the ornate arched gateway with an iron gate. There is a female figure on horseback riding towards the gate. The first public park established in Hull, Pearson Park was established in 1860 following a gift of 27 acres of land by Zachariah Pearson (1821-1891), then Mayor of Hull. Ink and wash on paper. Signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner.
