Brief Description:
Drawing of Park Street from the railway bridge with a fountain in the foreground and the Old Exhibition building converted to the Artilllery Barracks on the right side of the street, by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), about 1883. The fountain in the foreground was one of the most ornate in Hull. Built prior to1880 it was moved from its site here at the foot of Park Street road bridge in 1885. On the right is the Corporation Fair Field with the Artillery Barracks of the 4th East Yorkshire Artillery Volunteeers. A church spire can be seen in the distance.There are figures in the street. Ink and wash on paper.
