Shows a row of premises on the left side including 'Jas Wiltshire Leather Seller', The 'Old Greenland Inn' and 'Curson General Drapers'. Ships masts can be seen over the wall in the Dry Dock on the right. The bridge is in the background. There is a horse and cart in the street and a man pushes a handcart on the left. Other figures on either pavement. Signed and dated 1894 at lower left corner.
