- Pen and ink drawing of No11 High Street, Hull, by Frederick Schultz Smith (1860-1925), 1887. Shows a large three storey Georgian building opposite Salthouse Lane, near Salthouse Lane Bridge entrance. In one of the lower windows is the wording 'Alfred Simpson / Engineers'. A poster on the far right reads 'Vote for Smith'. There are two men stood talking on the pavement in front of the building, and a cart carrying a barrel, in the street by the door. On the far left is a woman stood over a man sat on a doorstep, with a little girl. Signed and dated 1887 by the artist at lower left corner.
